How device control works
All 11 features are delivered via the EMI Locker Android DPC App — a Device Policy Controller
that runs silently, requires no factory reset, and responds to FCM commands in real time.
Retailer activates the DPC App
Customer's Android phone is enrolled using a registration key via the EMI Locker Customer App. The DPC profile is applied silently — no factory reset, no data wipe.
Retailer sends a command from the dashboard
Any of the 11 control actions can be triggered from the retailer's web panel with a single click. The command is sent via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) over a secure channel.
Device executes the action instantly
The DPC App receives the FCM payload and applies the policy — lock, alert, restrict, or track — within seconds, even when the customer's app is closed in the background.
